Change Of Name

This Just In! Burlsman will be changing its name to Blouseman. At the grill out they decided the change of name because of David Bowie.The new logo will be Blouseman the superhero.

Help me with my research project

Dear neighbors,

I desperately need your help for a research project in one of my graduate courses. Within the next week or so I will deposit at your doorsteps a questionnaire with a number of political cartoons. I will ask you to rate the cartoons according to a scale that I am currently developing. You will remain completely anonymous. I’m only after raw data, that’s all. The questionnaire will NOT take a long time. I will include a list of instructions with the questionnaire that should answer any of your questions.

This is a heads-up. I will let you all know which exact day to expect the questionnaire.

Barbeque/Party This Thursday

The Wilder's are hosting a street party this Thursday, April 27 at 4:30 PM at 1124 E. Burleigh St. The purpose of the party, besides libation, is to plan the block party. Veggie and carne will be provided. Bring something to drink.

Anyone have a burning desire to start planning the 2006 block party? If we want it near the fourth of July again, the weekend falls on 7/1 and 7/2 this year.

Am reading Collapse right now by Jared Diamond, the author of Guns, Germs and Steel. It's about how in human history some societies have made it and others have not because of decisions they have made particularly when it comes to how they have cared for the land. Good read. If anyone is interested I will loan it out when I am done.

This interactive website can act in any way we want but I would imagine it can act as way for us to advertise community events, celebrate happy occasions, chat, brag, whatever.
